My name is Beverly Connolly. I am a volunteer with the Precious Touch Foundation and have been for some time. Being a volunteer in the Foundation is very important. We are dealing with children who are sometimes terminally ill and when you understand what a terminal illness is and how it makes a person feel along with their family, then you can't help but be a volunteer. The sadness can be overwhelming and this is understandable, but the feelings get a bit more bearable and you might be able to think about your situation a little bit more calmly when members of the Precious Touch Foundation come on board to grant that child a wish. Precious Touch Foundation is a very good organization and should be utilized by all parents who have children diagnosed with life-threatening medical illnesses between the ages of 2 and 16.
