Making precious wishes come true

We grant wishes for children in Barbados aged 2 to 16 who are living with a serious illness. A trip to Disney World, a laptop for school, a princess party. Whatever they dream of, we do our very best to make it happen.

Four kinds of wishesChildren can wish to go somewhere, be someone, have something or meet someone.
How it works

How a wish comes true

Every wish starts with one simple question we ask each child we meet:

"If you could have one wish, what would it be?"

From the first phone call to the big day, our volunteers stay with the family the whole way. We take care of the planning, so the child and their family can just enjoy it.

Someone gets in touch

A parent, guardian, doctor, nurse or social worker tells us about the child. Kids can reach out to us themselves, too.

We check in with the doctor

A medical professional confirms the child's diagnosis, so we know the wish is safe for them.

The child makes a wish

Somewhere to go, someone to be, something to have or someone to meet. It's completely their choice.

The big day

Our wish team, donors and partners pull it all together, and the wish comes true.
