I Wish To Have A Laptop – Czarina Rouse – 12 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. continues to make precious wishes come true. On Saturday, September 1, 2018, Czarina Rouse (12 years) got her wish of a Laptop granted when our wish team made a surprise visit to her home. Czarina’s Aunt Sharon created more excitement to this special occasion by sending her over to a neighbour’s home, giving the team the opportunity to arrive safely and hide without Czarina’s knowledge.
I Wish To Go To Disney World – Asiah Jackson – Age 6 Years
Asiah Jackson, her mum Cheniqua Jackson and Precious Touch Foundation Inc. representative Adrian Millington left our beautiful island of Barbados on August 17th 2018 to fulfil Asiah’s wish – I Wish To Go To Disney World. Asiah though initially shy and reserved is quite a character and often attracted attention with her bold, charismatic and jovial manner :).
I Wish To Have A Laptop – Rakeena Harris – 3 Years Old
On Sunday, July 22nd, 2018, the Precious Touch Foundation Inc. team visited 3-year-old Rakeena Harris to make her wish come true. Rakeena was a bit shy but we all knew she was very thankful for her new laptop. Rakeena’s parents thanked us on her behalf and wished us all the best with our mission of granting wishes and fulfilling dreams.
I Wish To Have A Pink Bunk Bed – Cameliah Taitt-James – 10 Years Old
On Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 a team of Precious Touch Foundation Inc. volunteers and Directors visited Cameliah Taitt-James’ (age 10 years) home to grant her wish. Her wish was a pink bunk bed and this was made possible thanks to our faithful sponsor Chefette Restaurants Ltd. Cameliah began excitedly dancing as she saw the procession of cars led by Regal Furniture Barbados. She continued to express her excitement as the team set up the bed in her room with her finished pink sheets which also carried the lovely PTF Inc. Logo on her pillowcases. Cameliah’s family expressed their gratitude to the Precious Touch Foundation Inc., Chefette Restaurants Ltd, and Regal Furniture Barbados. Another special moment in a child’s life was made possible this morning. Thanks, team, and kudos to Ashley for her assistance.
I Wish To Go… On A Cruise – Delandre Devonish – Age 16 Years
Delandre departed the shores of Barbados on July 18, 2018, accompanied by his mom Sonia and dad Steve as well as Harriette Clarke the Precious Touch representative. Delandre’s cruise saw him visiting islands such as St Lucia, St Kitts, St Maarten, San Juan, St Thomas, and Dominica. He visited the shores of every island. Delandre was a trouper and he enjoyed every port and his mom also collected souvenirs as reminders of their visit. This was truly an awesome experience for Delandre and a first for PTF Inc. since this was the first time a wish for cruise had been granted. Our sincere thanks go out to Manulife Re. for their continued support by making Delandre’s wish a reality.

A huge thank you to the staff, students, and parents of the Bilton Grange Preparatory School in Warwickshire UK for their generous donation to The Precious Touch Foundation Inc. Some of the children were on tour in Barbados engaging in various sporting disciplines including cricket, swimming, and netball but took time out of their busy schedule to present a cheque to help spread smiles to our wish children!
Have a Heart – Charity Walk/Run – 2018
Digicel Barbados Ltd. and the Barbados Defence Force invite you to participate in this year’s “Have a Heart” Charity Walk/Run. This year’s Charity Walk/Run takes place on August 11th, 2018 and commences at 6:00 AM sharp from the Barbados Coast Guard Headquarters, Pelican Base, and proceeds to the Barbados Defence Force Headquarters, St. Ann’s Fort, The Garrison, St. Michael.
I Wish To Have An iPad – Deshon Gibson – 12 Years Old
On Thursday May 31st 2018 Precious Touch Foundation Inc. (PTF Inc.) with kind assistance from Chefette Restaurants Ltd. granted the wish of Deshon Gibson (12 years old). Deshon’s wish to have an iPad was sponsored by Chefette Restaurants Ltd. and was presented at their offices on Harbour Road. I Wish To Have a Lamborghini Toy Car -Aiden Trotman – 4 Years Old
On May 12th, 2018, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. and the Helping Hands of Wills Primary School excitedly granted little Aiden’s wish of a car. Not just any car….a yellow ride on “Lamborghini “. Aiden loves cars and has a pretty exquisite car taste. When the Helping Hands team heard about this wish, they immediately wanted to assist and quickly got to work. Within 2 weeks Aidens’ s wish came true. The Helping Hands team of young children accompanied by their parents, teachers and 3 representatives of the PTF Inc. visited little Aiden’s home with his BIG surprise. Thank you to the Helping Hands team of Wills Primary School.
I Wish To Have A Play Station with a TV – Lamar Goodridge-Howell -12 Years Old
Children are so very special and so are their wishes – Lamar Goodridge-Howell (12 years old) wished for a Play Station with a TV. The beautiful smile shown on his face when he got the news that his wish would be granted on World Wish Day April 29th was a camera moment to behold. After receiving such wonderful news: this sweet, talkative and mannerly little boy kept asking everyone who visited him at the hospital, “Can I get my wish now” and the answer was always “in a few days, just relaxed we are planning something special for you” As the planning got closer and closer to World Wish Day, the excitement intensified and soon everyone was eagerly looking forward to this special wish granting occasion. Sadly on the evening of April 22nd 2017, with just one week before our World Wish Day event, the sad news was given to us. Unbelievable and quite unexpectedly, Little Lamar Goodridge-Howell died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It was a joy to have met this adorable little boy, may he rest in eternal peace. Sadly Lamar Goodridge-Howell passed away on April 22, 2017
