I Wish To Have A Laptop – Chris Griffith – 8 Years Old
The wish request for electronic items continues to be quite exciting for our special children. This was evident on January 15, 2016, when 8-year-old Chris Griffith arrived at Unicomer (Barbados) Ltd. accompanied by his mum Sonia Griffith to receive his precious wish of a Laptop. With the kind assistance of Unicomer (Barbados) Ltd., Chris was able to have his wish fulfilled. With all smiles, our little wish boy happily accepted his Lenovo Laptop which was presented by the Marketing Manager Arlene Floro. This very happy occasion was witnessed by the Foundation’s representatives St. Auban Callender, Henderson Rouse, Adrian Millington and Nancy Knight.
I Wish To Have A Mind Craft Game – Kristan Baker – 8 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. continues to make precious wishes come true. On December 22, 2015, a very anxious little boy was pleasantly surprised when he arrived at Barbados International Business Association’s Office to have his wish granted. Kristan Baker (8 years) asked for a Mind Craft Game. This confident little boy was very specific in choosing his wish right down to the color of each item. With assistance from the kind management and staff of BIBA, Kristan was able to experience the joy and happiness of having his wish fulfilled. The presentation was made by Mr. Andrew Alleyne, President of BIBA. This special moment was witnessed by Tristan’s dad Emmerson Baker, Vice-President St. Auban Callender, Director Shakida Belgrave and Volunteer Kevin Barrow (P.T.F. Inc.) along with staff members of BIBA.
I Wish To Have A Laptop – Tyreke Trotman – 11 Years Old
On Sunday, November 1, 2015, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. and with the kind assistance of Chefette Restaurants Ltd. fulfilled a little boy’s wish. Tyreke Trotman (11 years) wished for a Laptop with headphones and a red laptop bag. When the Precious Touch Foundation Inc. team arrived for the presentation, a very anxious Tyreke covered his face with his hands in an effort to concealed his excitement. This special moment was shared with his younger brother David and his other friends along with his Aunties. After the presentation, Tyreke in all smiles thanked everyone “on the behalf of me” for making his precious wish come true. Auntie Newton then expressed appreciation and thanks to all who were part of this wonderful experience and said she is sure Tyreke will benefit greatly from the use of his Laptop. Sadly Tyreke Trotman passed away on December 30th, 2017.
I Wish To Have A Play Station 4 With My Favorite Games – Ranaco Pilgrim – 11 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. continues to make precious wishes come true. On September 28, 2015, a very shy and quiet little boy was pleasantly surprised when he was invited to visit Chefette Restaurants Ltd. Corporate Office on Fontabelle, St. Michael to have his wish granted. Ranaco Pilgrim (11 years) requested a wish from Precious Touch Foundation Inc. of a Play Station 4 with his favorite games (FIFA Football 2015, Need for Speed – Car Racing and Call of Duty) along with a Flat Screen Television. With the kind assistance of Mr. Ryan Haloute and his dedicated staff, Ranaco was able to experience the joy and happiness of having his wish fulfilled. Enjoying this special moment was Ranaco’s mum Ann-maria Headley, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. Directors Adorial Maxwell-Hazell and St. Auban Callender along with Lead Volunteer Carolyn Breedy. Making the presentation to Ranaco were Chefette Restaurants Ltd. Marketing Officer Mrs. Marquest Clarke-Griffith and Advertising Manager Mrs. Lisa Carter.
I Wish To Have A Play Station 4 – Nathaniel King – 14 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. continues to create memorable experiences for children with life-threatening medical conditions. On Saturday, August 22, 2015, 14-year-old Nathaniel King was presented with his special wish of a Play Station 4 which was sponsored by Xtreme Hikers Barbados, a professional Hiking group whose members also volunteer with the Foundation. It was a joyous occasion for everyone especially Nathaniel who sought permission from the group to open his gift soon after it was presented to him by Andre Belle. With the necessary permission given, Nathaniel diligently and carefully removed the wrapping paper to show off his PS4. Kim Carter (Nathaniel’s mum) thanked everyone, and said that despite the many painful situations that Nathaniel faced, the thought of getting a wish granted brought smiles to his face daily. Nathaniel said he was looking forward to this visit and he is very happy with his Play Station 4. Precious Touch Foundation Inc. thanks Xtreme Hikers Barbados and also World Electronics for making this precious wish come true.
I Wish To Have A Laptop – Naomi Alleyne – 4 Years Old
‘Wow, Wow” was all you could hear being whispered from 4-year-old Naomi Alleyne’s lips as she was surprised with her Laptop. On May 9, 2015, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. brought lots of smiles to this humble little girl, when her wish was granted at her home in the presence of her family. Naomi’s special Laptop was presented to her by volunteer Petra Burton while mum Daveda Chase, dad Cory Chase, granddad and her siblings look on in awe. The room erupted in laughter as Naomi carefully took off the pink bow and then tore open the box to touch her Laptop. She quickly turned it on and with a very sweet smile, held up her head and looked around the room. ‘Thank you very much. I love it” she said, and everyone in the room suddenly became invisible to this sweet little girl as she got all busy playing with her much-appreciated gift. I Wish To Have A Barbie Party – Shellana David – 7 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. continues to make precious wishes come true. On April 3, 2015, little Shellana David got the privilege of celebrating her 7th birthday in fine style. Her wish of a Barbie Party for her birthday was sponsored by ElevateEvents and was held at Divi Southwinds Beach Resort. Arriving in a limousine accompanied by her parents and close family members, Shellana stepped out wearing a Barbie tiara and was escorted across the lawn to meet her specially invited guests who were all delighted to see her. During the entire afternoon, she was the center of attraction, bouncing and running all over the place as she and her friends took turns climbing on the slide. These energetic little children were happily hugging and tugging each other while waiting in line to have their faces painted in various patterns and flowers. After refreshments were served, Shellana was placed in a chair decorated with balloons while being surrounded by her family and friends as she waited patiently to be presented with her gifts. What a happy moment it was for her, as she carefully and smartly unwrapped each box to show off her Barbie items. To bring the evening to a fitting close everyone sang and wished her a happy birthday as she cut her beautifully designed Barbie cake. Before leaving the hotel, Shellana’s mum thanked everyone who attended the party especially all those who assisted in making her daughter’s wish come true. It was truly a wonderful evening spent with our little wish child and her amazing friends.
I Wish To Have A Tablet – Ashanti Bynoe – 6 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. continues to create unforgettable moments for some very special little children. On Sunday, January 25, 2015, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. and ElevateEvents Live made a precious wish come true on Ward C8 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This wish of a Tablet was sponsored by ElevateEvents and presented to a beautiful little girl with an amazing and loving personality, 6-year-old Ashanti Bynoe. Ashanti was all smiles as she anxiously searched the gift bag for her Tablet which she quickly opened. She was also pleasantly surprised to find that there were two other gifts still to be opened filled with play-time items, doll accessories, coloring books and crayons. Ashanti’s granddad and her mum Alana, along with directors and volunteers of the Foundation and students from the American University of Barbados School of Medicine shared in this awesome experience. It was truly a beautiful occasion. Unfortunately, Ashanti Bynoe passed away on September 1, 2015.
I Wish To Have A Tablet Computer – Joshua Agard – 3 Years Old
Precious Touch Foundation Inc. in association with Miss Rhea Arthur and the management of World Electronics granted little 3-year-old Joshua Agard his wish of a Tablet Computer to play his favorite Spiderman game. Joshua’s Tablet was sponsored by Miss Arthur, a finalist in the Banks Calendar Girl Competition 2014 with proceeds collected from the students and some teachers of Foundation School as part of her charity project with the Foundation. The presentation was made to Joshua at his home on December 1, 2014, by Miss Arthur in the presence of his mum Lisa, his dad Jason and his other siblings. Also attending the wish-granting presentation were members of the Foundation who expressed heartfelt satisfaction as another precious child’s wish was turned into reality. Miss Lisa Agard thanked everyone for making Joshua feel special and said she is certain that he will be very happy with his Tablet. Sadly Joshua passed away on May 23, 2015.
I Wish To Have A Tablet – Danico Elcock – 4 Years Old
Another precious wish granted. On July 26, 2014, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. in association with Xtreme Hikers Barbados made a little boy’s wish come true on the Paediatrics Ward C7 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Like most little children Danico Elcock always wished to have his own little Tablet where he can play games and watch cartoons. Precious Touch Foundation Inc. realizing that this special item brings so much joy and happiness to children, they immediately approached their Hiking Partners (Xtreme Hikers Barbados) who always wanted to share in such an awesome experience. This professional group of individuals was extremely honored to sponsor Danico’s wish of a Tablet which was presented to his Mum Danielle Elcock by Alana Clarke, a member of the group. Alana said that the members were extremely excited to be given the opportunity to participate in this very special and memorable occasion and look forward to assisting the Foundation in granting more wishes. Attending the presentation were Directors from the Foundation, Xtreme Hikers Barbados members and the Nursing staff of Ward C7. After the presentation, Danielle thanked everyone for granting Danico’s wish of a Tablet and said that he will be very happy with it. Nurse Lynch also expressed appreciation on behalf of the Nursing, Medical and House-keeping team to the Foundation and Xtreme Hikers Barbados for bringing smiles and happiness to the children under their care who are going through some challenging times in their lives. Special mention must be made of the kind assistance given to the wish by the Management and staff of World Electronics who have expressed an interest in the wonderful work of the Foundation. Precious Touch Foundation Inc. thanked everyone for partnering on this special occasion and took the opportunity to wish Danico a speedy recovery and all the best for the future.
