Jalea Walrond (8 years) always wished to go to Disney World, so when this golden opportunity was presented to her by Precious Touch Foundation Inc. and Manulife Re she was the happiest little girl in the world. On March 26, 2016 Jalea accompanied by her mum Trazanne Walrond and her brother Jalani along with representatives from the Foundation, left Barbados for a one week visit to Orlando Florida where she enjoyed all the magical wonders of Disney World. Jalea made certain that she experience all the wonderful thrills and fantasies from as many rides as she could, and participated in all the entertainment planned for her at Give Kids the World Village. When asked about her experience at Disney World after returning home, Jalea said “I really love it and I had lots of fun” Precious Touch Foundation Inc. extends sincere thanks and appreciation to the management and staff at Manulife Re for their kind support in making Jalea’s wish come true.
Sadly Jalea Walrond passed away on the morning of April 5, 2017.
