Jamal Perry, a native of Guyana lost his fight to cancer on June 10, 2008, at the tender age of 14 years old. His ‘wish’ was to have a gospel concert in Barbados with lots of music and bright lights. The concert was scheduled to take place on June 28, 2008 at Divi Southwinds Hotel, St. Lawrence, Christ Church.
Jamal was a brave and loving guy and his strong belief and faith in God was evident in his life and during his illness. His Christian principles made him a joy to meet and brought to light the inner peace a child of God experiences in the face of death.
