On Sunday, March 23, 2014, Precious Touch Foundation Inc. and Dacosta Mannings Inc. made a little boy’s wish come true on the Paediatric ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Our wish recipient Jaheim Catwell (10 years) wished for a Laptop. However, due to the sensitive nature of Jaheim’s medical condition which prevented him from receiving his wish at the time, his Mum Nadia Catwell collected the Laptop on his behalf. This special occasion was witnessed by Directors and Volunteers of the Foundation which included students from the American University of Barbados School of Medicine, along with Miss Regina Ramjit (Miss Barbados World 2013), the nursing staff and visitors to the Ward.
Nadia thanked the Foundation and everyone who assisted in making Jaheim’s dream a reality. The wish-granting delegation was pleasantly touched when Jaheim stood by the glass window of his room and waved, acknowledging his gratitude for the Laptop. Another SPECIAL moment for another SPECIAL child!
