Shamar Leacock (age 12 years) had his left eye removed in infancy for retinoblastoma (a rare malignant tumor of the retina). However, due to consistent problems over the years with his prosthetic eye, there was the need for Shamar to have further treatment. His ‘wish’ was to have assistance with another operation which was granted on January 20, 2009, at BayView Hospital.
